Former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has stated that he thinks Arsenal has a strong chance of winning the Premier League this year.
The Gunners have been working hard to win the title since Arsene Wenger took them to the title in 2004.
Despite narrowly missing out last season, where Mikel Arteta’s team finished five points behind Manchester City, Cech, who spent four years at Arsenal after his tenure with Chelsea, sees potential for success this time. Currently trailing league leaders Liverpool by two points, Cech mentioned on Monday Night Football, “At this moment, I think Arsenal. This season? I think this season will be very close, but I actually think Arsenal might do it.”
